We wanted to get our little granddaughter a children's book on New York City. The clerk directed us to some cute books that even a 2 year old would enjoy. She absolutely loves the book and can learn about NYC too.
It is a lovely bookstore with a great variety of books, gifts, and souvenirs. Located at Chelsea Market, from there you can easily go to the High Line Park. I specially liked the quotes magnets - wanted them all!
I always make sure to visit this bookstore when in the city. The books they have here are incredibly interesting, the organization is great and the employees are really nice. The music they play is also always so good!
